Copying long original
When a long original is copied, either MEMORY or Hard Disk (HDD)
can be set as a storage area of the scanned image data.
■ Selecting “Memory”
- An attempt to copy a long original exceeding 1250 mm (49.2 inches)
may cause a warning error and then the print is disabled depending on
the setting up. The maximum copy and printing length is 2.5 m (98.4
inches).
- The next original may not be scanned during the printing.
■ Selecting “HDD”
- There is no limitation in setting up when a long original is copied.
The maximum copy and printing length is the maximum printing
length of the device.
- The next original can be scanned during the printing.
- The processing time may be rather longer than that of “MEMORY”
selection.
◆ This setting is valid for the LP-1020L-MF (with HDD) or for
the device equipped with optional HDD. For the device not
equipped with HDD, “HDD” setting is invalid even if it is
selected.
◆ The maximum copy and printing length of the device is:
LP-1020-MF 2.5 m (98.4 inches)
LP-1020L-MF 10 m (393.7 inches)
◆ When copying a long original, the copy paper is also long, thus
requiring careful handling. It is recommended that a long
original be stored in the device once by using the sort function
and after the original was put away, the print be started.
