Shading guide

Note

Routine maintenance

The scanning area may become soiled by originals, thus requiring regular

cleaning.

◆ Never use volatile solvents such as thinner, benzine, and

alcohol.

Cleaning the scanning are and scanner glass

Wipe the shading guide and scanner glass with a dry cloth. If extremely

dirty, use the cloth dampened with water or neutral detergent diluted with

water and then wrung dry.
