Copy/scan cannot be performed satisfactorily

Q. Original jammed and copy/scan failed.

A. ■A folded original or strongly curled original causes a paper

jam.

➝Change the original setting direction.

➝Use a document carrier.

Copy function

Q. Margins are added in the original width direction, or both side

edges of original are not copied. Or, an original is printed on

different series paper roll from the original series during the

AUTO selection paper feed.

A. ■The original series and print media series are not set

correctly.

➝During the copy operation, the original series and print media

series must be set.

For setting of the print media series, see “If new series of paper

is used” in Chapter 2 of User's Guide, Plotter Unit prepared

separately.

If China series of paper is used, see “If China series of paper is

used” in Chapter 2 of User's Guide, Plotter Unit prepared

separately.

For setting of an original, set the ORIGINAL SERIES of the

copy function to original series used (⇒ page 2-48).
